My name is Hannah Fawdry, and I love helping trades, subs and property owners understand construction. I have a Construction Law Degree and Masters and have worked in the industry for years. I know these challenges firsthand, from contract disputes and budget issues to compliance headaches and high-pressure project delays. Which is why I created Build Confidence: to give my clients the expertise and support necessary to hit their targets.
My journey began in M&E Quantity Surveying, working on-site and then later in the office. This experience gave me a clear understanding of the entire construction process; I’ve handled every aspect, and this has given me a highly well-informed position on what it takes to deliver successful projects.
Some commercial managers take a more aggressive approach, but I believe in collaboration and proactive problem-solving. I’m passionate about contracts and understand their complexities, but my focus is on preventing disputes rather than escalating them. I work closely with my clients, building strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and open communication.
Being a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field has also given me a unique advantage. I bring strong communication and negotiation skills to the table, helping to build positive relationships, and I find that my clients appreciate my approachable style and my genuine desire to help them succeed.

From apprenticeships to industry events, I actively mentor, speak, and engage with schools to promote opportunities for women and young people. By sharing my experience and championing change, I’m committed to shaping a more inclusive and diverse future in construction.
